I AM MER-LN is about the discovery of identity. Leaning into the mythology of Merlin and wizardry and demons as a metaphorical reflection of the choices we make that sculpt us as individuals. What do we lean towards and what or who do we run away from?

Like many others, I have struggled with ideas surrounding identity and self and for me art is a means of self expression and discovery. The work is a reflection of the creative intelligence from the collaborators and enthusiasm and passion from Northern Ballet to create a digital interpretation of the mythology of Merlin.”
